Banded Together - The Naugatuck Valley Project Story

Bishop Rosazza, Lou Corey and Rev. Shoup

Bishop Peter Rosazza

“I remember when I was a youngster during the Second World War, thousands of jobs, brass jobs.  Then they closed the brass mill in Torrington and people who had been there a long time had to move.  And then little by little the Torrington Company and Torin – jobs were lost there.  It just bothered me tremendously to see that happening, and especially when the retirees were threatened that they would lose their jobs.  I find that unjust.”
